Orioles vs. Nationals: 7/7

The Orioles moved to three games ahead of the Toronto Blue Jays last night with an 8-2 win over our neighbors to the southwest, the Washington Nationals. However, it wasn’t until the 11th inning that the Orioles asserted themselves, scoring six runs in one of the most memorable finishes of the 2014 season.

Here are some of the highlights:

Nelson Cruz goes yard for the 28th time this season. Orioles lead 2-0.

Chris Davis hits a two-run homer that gives the Orioles a 4-2 lead in the 11th.

J.J. Hardy follows with a home run for himself!

Then, Manny goes yard for the third homer of the inning! 8-2 Orioles!
