Hey everyone! I’m reporting here from Montreal, Quebec. This city is deep in its enthusiasm for sports, yet it hasn’t had a baseball team since the Expos left in 2004. Montreal has an MLS team, the Impact, and a CFL team, the Alouettes, and follow them just as much, if not more than American cities do.
Today, I made my way to the Percival Molson Stadium, where the Alouettes play in the summer. Yes, for those who thought the NFL was the only football league, this country follows the CFL just as we do our league. Here’s my report Montreal.
P.S.: I just found out that Chad Johnson joined the Alouettes for this season. So there’s one more reason to care about Montreal.
CORRECTION: The stadium opened in 1914.
